Winter is a time that lots of wildlife go into hibernation, but there are some species that thrive this time of year. Expect to see robins, blackbirds, and thrush likely to be seen eating bright red berries, which they forage for so look out for the festive holly bush. On crisp frosty mornings there are signs that the forest is bursting with life so look out for animal tracks in the ground.
Ditch the last-minute present panic and give someone a winter break to look forward to instead. Buy gift vouchers for your next escape, snap up a festive surprise or go for the unexpected this Valentine's Day. It's the perfect present, all wrapped up.
